Celebrate clean air, land, and water on this Earth Day

The day, marked on April 22, is observed worldwide with rallies, conferences, outdoor activities and service projects.

On April 22, 1970, 20 million people across the country demonstrated in support of saving the environment. Since then, Americans have become environmentally conscious and there have been great strides in reducing waste and pollution, but more needs to be done.
